The First "Yes"
EMA Abortion Fund’s mission is to be the first “yes,” ensuring that no one has to navigate abortion access alone.
We fund care, provide support, coordinate travel and logistics, centering the wisdom of those we serve in all we do. No matter the political landscape, we collaboratively build power alongside our Florida communities so that abortion is supported and destigmatized for all.
WHAT’S GOING ON IN FLORIDA?
Since May 1, 2024, Florida’s 6-week abortion ban has been in effect. The only exceptions to this 6-week ban are for survivors who became pregnant as the result of a sexual assault, incest, and human trafficking and are cooperating with law enforcement.
Serving Palm Beach County, Northern Broward County, and the Treasure Coast (Martin County, St. Lucie County, Indian River County, and Okeechobee County).
For people residing in our service area we are able to pledge both funding support and practical support for travel when scheduled to be seen at one of our partner clinics.
We are able to pledge on procedure funding for Floridians outside of our service area when appointments are at one of our partner clinic locations.
